Notice of Public Hearing: OCP Amendment and Rezoning Application R19-02
Smithers Town Council will consider Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment and Rezoning application R19-02 for a portion of Town-owned property located at 1621 Main Street, legally described as Lots 7-19, and a portion of Lots 23-30, Block 140, Range 5, District Lot 865, Plan PRP1054, on Tuesday, April, 23rd, 2019, beginning at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 1027 Aldous Street, Smithers, BC.
The property, also known as the LB Warner Centre, is located northeast of the Main Street-Tenth Avenue intersection, and houses the Bulkley Valley Gymnastics Club and the former Ministry of Highways works yard. - Bylaw 1861 to rezone the subject property from P-2 Public Use Two to R-3 Medium Density Residential.
Anyone who believes they will be affected by the proposed bylaws is invited to submit written comments to Council prior to the meeting, and to attend the meeting. Written submissions must be received by 11:00 am on April 23rd to be included on the agenda.
