POSITION TITLE:        Clerk Typist/Dispatch RCMP - Casual  
DEPARTMENT:            Smithers RCMP Detachment
HOURS OF WORK:      Casual  
POSTING DATE:          Monday, August 22nd, 2022  
CLOSING DATE:          4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6th, 2022  
HOURLY RATE:           $29.85 (2022)

Reporting to the Staff Sergeant, the Clerk Typist/Dispatch R.C.M.P. provides a variety of reception, administrative, records management and dispatch functions for the Smithers R.C.M.P. Detachment.

This is a casual position working hours on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee of hours.

Qualifications include:

  • 2 years administrative and clerical experience in a police environment;
  • or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Candidates will be required to pass and maintain Enhanced Security and Criminal Record clearance. If a candidate already possesses the Enhanced Security and Criminal Record clearance it will be considered an asset.
