HOURLY RATE: Arena Worker I - $31.47 (2023)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Arena Worker I performs a variety of maintenance and operational functions such as building maintenance and janitorial, operating ice resurface machine, ice making and refrigeration plant operation as per Technical Safety British Columbia (TSBC) certification.
This is a casual position working hours on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee of hours.
Qualifications include:
- High school graduation.
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License.
- Refrigeration Safety Awareness or Ice Facility Operator Certification or Power Engineering Class 5 with refrigeration.
- Level I First Aid.
- WHMIS.
- 2 years civic building maintenance or maintenance.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
