POSITION TITLE:     Utility Operator III
DEPARTMENT:         Operations
HOURS OF WORK:   40 Hours/ week

HOURLY RATE:         $37.81


Reporting to the Director of Operations the Utility Operator III is responsible for participating in a variety of utility installation and maintenance functions for the Town such as storm sewer, sanitary sewer wastewater collection systems, and water distribution system repair, installation, and maintenance.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Water Distribution II
  • Wastewater Collection Level I (EOCP)
  • BC Driver’s License Class 3 with air
  • First Aid Level 1
  • 5 years experience in operation, maintenance and installation of municipal services, or an equivalent of education, training, and experience
  • Experience with shoring, chlorine handling considered an asset.
