POSITION TITLE:    Community Services Clerk
DEPARTMENT:         Community Services
HOURS OF WORK:   35 hours a week

HOURLY RATE:   $30.39


GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Community Services Clerk provides administrative support to all divisions within the Community Services Department, including, Economic Development, Recreation, Community Safety, Communications, Transportation, and Town Committees. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma
  • Diploma or degree in Communications or Business Administration (preferred)

Experience: 

  • Minimum two years of administrative support experience, one of which is in a Local Government or public administration environment (preferred).
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
