The Town of Smithers invites operators and owners of Short-Term Rental units (ie. B&Bs) to attend an information session on the new Provincial Short-Term Rental (“STR”) Accommodations Legislation, and the subsequent municipal regulations; and how the new legislation may affect local STR operations.
STR operators and owners are invited to attend one of these hybrid information sessions, which will be held in person at the Town hall, or virtually:
- April 17, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- April 18, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm
If you are unable to attend one of these sessions in person, please contact the Town’s Development Services Department at devserv@smithers.ca or 250-847-1600 to register to attend virtually.
