Taxi Service
Smithers has two taxi companies available to provide services from the airport:
- Kaiser Taxi Services at 250-917-8882
- Kalum Kabs Ltd. at 250-877-7167
Drop-off and Pick-up
A designated drop-off and pick-up zone is located and clearly marked just past past the arrivals entrance at the front of the terminal building.
Active loading and unloading is permitted curbside. No waiting, no idling, no unattended vehicles.
Busses and shuttles are not permitted in front of the Main Terminal. The north end of the curb is reserved for taxis, buses and large shuttles.
Unattended vehicles are considered parked and may be fined or towed at the owner's expense.
Complimentary One Hour Parking
Several complimentary one-hour parking stalls are provided by local businesses and are available in the first row of the parking lot.
Parking Permits: Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly
Parking permits can be purchased at the "Parking Kiosk" in the parking lot, conveniently located directly in front of the Terminal Building. You can also use the Pay By Phone free App to pay for parking directly through your phone or electronic device.

The machine in the front of the lot accepts credit cards, debit cards (tap) and coins. Follow the onscreen prompts to enter your license plate number, select your length of stay and the machine will advise you of the payment required. A parking receipt will print out. No need to return to your vehicle as your license plate is registered within our parking system.
The Pay by Phone option allows you to purchase parking by registering our lot number 18950, your vehicle license number, your length of stay, through the Pay By Phone app. No need to return to your vehicle as your license plate is registered within our parking system. You can extend parking duration from anywhere using the App.
Parking Permits or extending parking duration can also be purchased in the Terminal Building at the Airport Administration office where credit cards and debit cards can be utilized. Airport Administration can also be reached via email or by phoning 250-847-3664.

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available in designated stalls on both sides of walkways to the terminal building. Regular parking rates apply. Please ensure that your Permit be visible.
