Join us on Sundays & Tuesdays at Ranger Park! Build Strength, improve mobility, and stretch your body in a balanced & supportive class. Kate from Balanced Yoke & Wellness Yoga is happy to offer modifications to the program, making it accessible for everyone! Bring a yoga mat & water bottle. It is recommended to pre-register, however, you can drop in on site for $10.

Skateboarding and mixed visual arts workshop with Rise & Shine Skateboarding. We will learn and build on the foundations of skateboarding, while incorporating mixed visual arts activities to inspire creativity both on and off a skateboard.
About the Instructors: Ashley and Louise have been working with youth over the last 10 years. Ashley brings her passion for skateboarding, a skater of over 20 years and Louise brings her passion for visual arts. Together, they help to inspire youth creatively and with skateboarding, show them they can do anything they set their mind to.
The Town of Smithers partnered with Engage Sport North to bring Park Play Days to Smithers for the summer. This free program is catered to children and youth aged 2 to 12 years old. Engage Sport North's Park Leaders will organize physical literacy games and activities, to help children enjoy being physically active while developing important fundamental movement skills and discovering new ways to be active!

The Town of Smithers is looking for qualified instructors or coaches who would like to provide recreation programming to the community. The Town of Smithers has facilities available for use, can offer the administration aspect of the programming and will work around your schedule.

- Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
- Payment in full must be made at the time of registration.
- No refunds will be granted unless a class is cancelled or in exceptional cases involving sickness or relocation.
- The Community Services Department reserves the right to cancel any course which does not meet the required minimum registration.
- Classes will not be held on statutory holidays.
