In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, the Town of Smithers intends to dispose of the following lands to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Canada Company at the Smithers Regional Airport Terminal Building, comprising of land located the Smithers Regional Airport Property, 6401 Airport Road, which includes a building comprising approximately 71 m² together with surrounding land not exceeding 531 m² and space in the Terminal Building, consisting of counter space and vehicle parking spaces , by way of a 10-year Lease to facilitate an operational base for rental car services, including administrative functions, vehicle parking, storage, washing, and detailing of rental vehicles, to expire on March 31, 2036.
The monthly rent schedule, plus appliable taxes as follows: Year 1: $1,251.13; Year 2: $1,288.67; Year 3: $1,327.33; Year 4: $1,367.15; Year 5: $1,408.16; Year 6: $1,450.41; Year 7: $1,493.92; Year 8: $1,538.74; Year 9: $1,584.90 and Year 10: $1,632.45.
