Do you enjoy working with people and being part of the action at the arena? The Town of Smithers Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic, responsible individuals to join our team as Skate Patrol Attendants for the 2026-27 ice season.
Skate Patrol Attendants play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for skaters of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities include monitoring public skating sessions, assisting patrons, promoting safe skating practices, and helping with the overall operation of ice programs and special events.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy community recreation, working with the public, and being part of a dynamic team. Previous skating experience is an asset, but a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety are essential.
Come help make our ice season a success while supporting healthy, active recreation in our community!
